QuestBall 2 Prototype - Postmortem


This is the first of a series of games started and completed in a month of spare time. 

My main takeaways from this first game...

1. I was really lucky to have existing assets to use - not going to be the case with subsequent projects!

2. It was still a BIG challenge to bring in a (kinda) playable team sports game with CPU characters. Two-player would actually have been easier!

3. Controller set-up was a nightmare, something to try improve upon for next time. 

4. I wasted the first 4 days on another idea that was dumped, spent quite a bit of time on controller issues, plus set up the itch page etc within the month. QB2 itself was probably only about 70% of the time spent as a result.
